The U10G Black team claimed the championship at the Ghosts and Goals tournament. The girls rattled off 4 straight victories. In game one, the team dominated the Eel River Rapids and posted a 4-0 victory. They then beat East Sacramento Sting and River City Barcelona by identical 2-0 score lines. In the championship game, the girls were matched up against Elk Grove United Pride. The team put on a scoring display and clinched the championship with a 5-2 victory.

The U11G Black team won the title in the Premier division of the Placer United Girls Cup. They opened up with a 1-0 victory over Alliance FC Devils. In game two, the girls battled against Modesto Ajax White and came out on top, 2-1. That victory secured a spot in the finals. In game three, the girls were up-ended by Burlingame Dynamite Blue, 2-0. The opponent in the final was the Fresno Chaos. It was a hard fought battle with Placer scoring the first goal. With only seconds left, Fresno scored the equalizer. The game went to penalty kicks where the girls prevailed and claimed the Cup.

The U13 girls black team won the title in the bronze division of the Placer United Girls Cup.  They got off to a rough start, falling to Cap FC 2-0.  The girls came back with a vengeance and won two games in a row.  They defeated Cal Odyssey Earthquakes 5-2 and FC Royale Phoenix 4-1.  That set the stage for the rematch with Cap FC and the girls came out on top with a 2-0 victory and the championship.

Congratulations to all on a great weekend of soccer!
