Placer United Teams had Great Success this Past Weekend in Tournament Play

Placer United Invitational

All of the teams played hard and very well over the weekend

Girls Teams – U9 gold, U10 gold and black, U11 gold and black, U12 black, U13 black, U14 black, U16 black, U17 black

U10 girls gold had 4 wins to claim the championship.

U11 girls gold were semi-finalists

U13 girls black were semi-finalists

U14 girls black had 3 wins and a loss to take 2nd place

U16 girls black had 3 wins and a loss to take 2nd place

U17 girls black had 3 wins and 1 draw to take the championship

Boys Teams – U9 gold and black, U11 gold and black

U9 boys gold had 3 wins and 1 loss for 2nd place

U9 boys black lost in semi-finals and won their consolation match

U11 boys gold had 3 wins and then beat Manteca in the final

Lake Oswego Cup – Oregon

Our U13 girls gold team travelled up to Oregon to take on the Northwest’s best. The girls beat a few State Champions along the way. They won 5 straight games to claim the championship!

Pleasanton Rage College Showcase

The U15-U18 Gold Girls travelled down to Pleasanton to play against top competition and perform in front of a number of college coaches. The format for college showcase events is 4 games with no playoffs. Points determine winners.

U15 Gold 96 – Super 2 division – 1 win, 2 losses, 1 draw – 5th overall

U16 Gold 95 – Super 1 division – 1 win, 1 loss, 2 draws – 5th overall

U17 Gold 94 – Super 1 division – 3 wins, 1 loss – Champions

U18 Gold 93 – Super 1 division – 1 win, 1 loss, 2 draws – Semi-finalist
