The U17 ’94 Gold girls are in heavy preparation for the USYSA Far West Regional Tournament which begins play June 20th in Boise, Idaho. The team qualified for the Regional event by making it to the Cal-North State Cup Final in April.
The draw was just released yesterday for the first round of the event. In game #1, the girls will face the Washington State Champion, Crossfire Premier. In game #2, the girls will square off against LaRoca Premier, the state champion from Utah. In the final group game, the team will see San Diego Surf Premier who qualified for a spot via the Far West Regional League.
The tournament has 16 teams, four brackets of four. The top two teams from each bracket will move on to the quarter-finals. You can follow the action at www.regioniv.com
