Placer United Girls Compete at Prestigious Surf Cup
Five Placer United girls teams travelled down to San Diego over the Thanksgiving weekend to participate in Surf Cup. Erika Garcia Named to All-Ivy Division I Second Team
Erika Garcia, sophomore defender for Harvard University, collected All-Ivy second team honors this season. Garcia, a member of Mexico’s U20 National team pool, moved from playing a forward position to anchor the defense for the Crimson. Harvard posted seven shutouts in the season. Lexi Giusti Named to First Team All NEC Division III
Sophomore forward, Lexi Giusti of Lesley University, was named to the All NECC Division III first team all conference. Giusti tallied 9 goals and 7 assists in the season for the Lynx.
