Welcome to Placer United!

We are looking forward to another great season and want to make sure no player misses a beat due to registration problems. Please make sure you follow all of the steps below to avoid any delays.  All players, both new and returning, must complete registration before training begins for the 2024/2025 season.

All registration will be completed through GotSport and will take 15-30 minutes to complete. All players on an ECNL team will also register on the AthleteOne platform.

Deadline to register is June 7, 2024 for ALL players starting at the beginning of the season.

Step 1:  Placer United Policies

Step 2:  Registration

Please note: There is a distinction between ECNL-RL, Pre-ECNL, and ECNL. Make sure to click the correct registration link by paying close attention to your player’s team name.

 

All Non-ECNL Teams (NPL, Gold, Black, White, ECNL-RL, Pre-ECNL)  – GotSport

All players, new and returning, will use the link below to register your player(s). You will find step-by-step instructions, but if  you experience any issues, please contact admin@placerunited.com.

Your GotSport account will be charged a $350 registration fee within a couple of days from the completion of your registration. If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please email admin@placerunited.com. Your first month’s training fee will be charged on July 1, 2024 and will run through April 1, 2025.

If you are a NEW player, you will need the following documents in order to register:

•  Player Photo.  One COLOR headshot photo (no full body or action shots) of player. Per US Club requirements: no hats, glasses, or itty bitty pictures.
• Proof of Birth (birth certificate or passport).
  • All new players will need to upload a clear and legible copy of the player’s birth certificate or passport.
  • Returning players should not have to upload a certificate

All ECNL Players – GotSport and AthleteOne

Your GotSport account will be charged a one-time registration fee of $350 within a couple of days of when you complete registration. If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please email admin@placerunited.com. Your first month’s training fee will be charged on July 1, 2024 and will be valid through April 1, 2025.

In addition to registering on the GotSport platform and setting up a payment plan for monthly dues, ECNL players will also need to register on the AthleteOne (formerly TGS). This is the registration platform ECNL uses to card their players. AthleteOne is not yet available, so more information will be emailed out to all ECNL teams later this summer when it comes online. No dues will be charge on AthleteOne this season. You will only be registering your player so we can order their pass.

If your player has an existing TGS account, please take a minute to make sure your player’s profile is connected to their own unique email address, not a parent’s. This will need to be updated prior to registration later this summer. Here are the instructions on how to update the email.

Step 3:  Placer United TeamSnap for the Upcoming Season

If you are new to Placer United, you will shortly receive an invitation to log into TeamSnap. This is our internal communication hub and contains your team’s roster, training and game schedules, links to our Logo Gear store, and other useful information. Please update your information so your coach and the Club can quickly and efficiently communicate with you via phone, email, and text.

Step 4:  Uniforms

Uniform orders will go through SoccerPros. You will receive an email invitation to the Placer United store on SoccerPros’ website  where you will find all of our uniform requirements for the season and additional items available for purchase. You will have the option to select whether you want your items shipped directly to your home, or for pick up in the store. Prior to the order deadline, we will have sample sizes of the uniforms available at Placer United Indoor Training Center (Tinker).  If you would like to have your player try anything on, you can ask your coach for access. Please confirm your jersey number with your coach before placing  your order.

Uniforms and training kits have a two-year cycle of wear. The 2024/2025 season is the second year of the current cycle. New players will need to purchase the entire kit. Returning players will not need to purchase anything unless they need to order any replacement items. It is required that all players purchase a full home kit, away kit, and training kit.

ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY MAY 31, 2024, for expected delivery dates of mid-late July at the start of the season.

If you join a team mid-season, orders should be fulfilled within 1-2 weeks.

Step 5:  Mark Your Calendars

Friday, June 28th – Thursday, July 4th – Club Fireworks Booth. Volunteering at the Club Fireworks Booth not only helps fulfill your annual volunteer hours but also aids in raising funds for Placer United. Plus, getting involved can be a lot of fun and a great way to connect with fellow club members and coaches. Make sure to mark your calendar and sign up when the volunteer slots open. And don’t forget to spread the word about the fireworks sale to friends and family to ensure a successful fundraiser!

Sunday, August 25 – Annual Club Appreciation BBQ. The Annual Club Appreciation BBQ at Johnson-Springview Park is a fun event for club members and their families. It’s an opportunity to come together, enjoy good food and beverages, and partake in various activities for both kids and adults. The splash park adds an extra element of fun, especially during the summer months. Keep an eye out for more details as the event draws nearer, and be sure to mark your calendars for what promises to be a fantastic day of club community.

Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24 – Annual Club Picture Days A great opportunity to capture memories and team spirit! It’s essential for all players and coaches to attend to ensure everyone is included in the team and individual photos. The timing between 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tinker allows for flexibility and accommodates different schedules. Keep an eye out for more details on the specific team schedule and any additional information that will be provided. Don’t forget to bring your best smiles and team pride!

Friday, March 21, 2025 – Placer United Casino Royale (casino night). The Placer United Casino Royale is an entertaining evening for adults! Hosted at the Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis, it promises an array of activities including dinner, dancing, gambling, and an exciting silent auction. It’s a fantastic opportunity for club members to come together, socialize, and support the club in a fun and engaging way. With doors opening at 6:00 p.m., it sets the stage for an evening filled with camaraderie. Be sure to mark your calendar and get ready for a memorable night at the Casino Royale!

Step 6:  Parent Business Directory

We would love to strengthen our community by supporting the businesses of our members. Please complete the form below if you would like to be included in the Placer United Business Directory. We will compile the directory and make it available to all Club members. Participation is entirely optional.

Step 7:  Social Media

Placer United’s Facebook and Instagram feeds are great ways for members and alumni to stay connected. Check often for updates on teams, player accomplishments, alumni updates, and Club news. Send photos to your team manager throughout the season for the Club to share on our social media pages.

Step 8:  Placer United Logo Gear

Get ready to show your Club spirit and pick up your Placer United swag! Our logo gear store is open several times a year to meet your shopping needs.  Communication on open windows for ordering will be sent through Team Snap and on social media with deadlines to order.
