Kate Killer of 04’s Commits to UC Santa Barbara

“I’m extremely excited to announce that I have verbally committed to University of California, Santa Barbara, and will be continuing my soccer and academic career there! It’s been a lifelong dream to play at this school and I couldn’t have done it without the help of all of my coaches and the families who have supported me at Placer. An extra thank you goes out to coaches Don Finley and Kevin Unsworth for making me the player I am today and pushing me every second to make it to this point. Another thank you to Ron Benjamin for guiding me through the college process and helping my development as a player. To all my teammates throughout the years thank you for being with me on and off the field! I am super excited about the start of something new and looking forward to be a Gaucho!”—Kate Killer
