Emily Connick ’03 U16 NPL Commits to Chico State University

“I am extremely happy and humbled to announce my verbal commitment to California State University, Chico where I will continue my academic and athletic journey. I could not have had a more supportive group of people that helped me be able to achieve this. First, I would like to thank my family for the countless hours of driving and all the support they have given me throughout the years. I would also like to thank my coach, Ron Benjamin for believing in me and improving my game with his endless support, and I would have never been able to achieve this without your coaching. You have changed my life in countless ways, and I am forever grateful for everything you have done for me. I would also like to thank my incredible teammates who have been nothing but supportive and push me at every practice and game to do my best. In addition, I would like to thank my personal trainer Kenyon Hill for his support and helping me develop the skills and ability to be able to try out for a club like Placer.
